“Hi there! I’m Rebecca Rei Hidalgo, and this podcast began as Grateful Heart.

I originally started the show to help educate my clients about the real estate market, but along the way it evolved into something much bigger. I discovered that I love talking with people, hearing their stories, and learning from the wisdom each person carries.

While our expertise still includes the health of the housing market, this show has grown to focus on something even deeper: the health and well-being of our listeners. More specifically, the places we live in our hearts, in our minds, and in our homes.

Because the biggest purchase most people make in life isn’t just a house. It’s the place where we raise our children, start new businesses, pray for our loved ones, follow our dreams, and sometimes simply sit quietly and listen to our favorite podcast.

Home is where life unfolds.

Over time, I realized something important. My grateful heart had grown into something stronger. I wasn’t just practicing gratitude anymore.

I had become rooted in gratitude.

That realization inspired the creation of the Rooted in Gratitude Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a mission to bring greater attention to affordable housing and help more people experience the stability and dignity of having a place to call home.

My hope is that through this podcast, through conversation, and through the generosity of this community, we can shine a light on the housing challenges so many families face and eventually help countless people find safe, affordable homes.

Because when we are successful at home, everything else in life begins to fall into place.

Home is where the grateful heart lives… and where a life rooted in gratitude begins.

And along my own journey, I discovered something I had been searching for all along:
